The MFA has virtual monthly meetings which are usually on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  These are supplemented by “Field Trip” events during the year, usually on a Saturday morning to see a department’s apparatus and their stations, followed by lunch together. 

Our next virtual meeting will be on the fourth TUESDAY, April 28, 2026, beginning at 19:30 (Eastern time).  Please let us know if you need assistance in using this meeting method. It is not hard, and we can walk you through the steps, BUT ahead of meeting night!!

The Google Meet link and directions will be provided via separate e-mail and posted on our web page. We encourage you to click the link and try it. If your computer has a camera when you open the link, you should see yourself. Play with it as you are not connected to anything. Doing this will get you used to the system. Once you do this you will be all set to attend.

The April guest speaker will be Jennifer Clarke Eskew, a retired ATF Agent law enforcement officer, who responded to the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bombing in Atlanta. As she transitioned into the ATF’s arson and explosives division, she was part of the investigative efforts at this and other major crime scenes, including the Pentagon after 9/11. Her expertise is in arson, explosives, complex criminal investigations, and undercover operations. She served 32 years in law enforcement, starting with the Virginia State Police in 1986, later becoming an ATF Senior Special Agent. Her current role: Author, speaker, and trainer, providing counter-terrorism training and supporting 9/11 first responders.
